Your privacy is the most important policy. No one will know of your reason for contacting me unless I am legally compelled to disclose that information, and that happens rarely. If you ask me to file insurance, the insurance company will know that you sought mental health treatment. Likewise, if your visits are covered by an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), your employer will know we shared time. If you choose to pay me privately, no third party is involved.
